Rumor: Tales Of Zestiria To Feature 8 Playable Characters
Tales Of Zestiria, the latest entry of the Tales Of series launching in just two days in Japan on PlayStation 3, is apparently going to feature eight playable characters.
The game’s Trophy List, which has been leaked online earlier today, has revealed that there are going to be eight secret dungeons where it’s possible to play only as a designated character, meaning that it’s quite likely that there will be eight playable characters. This seems to confirm that Zaveid is really going to be playable in the game, despite Bandai Namco never showing him in battle sequences in trailers and other promotional material. As there still hasn’t been an official confirmation, we must treat all this as a rumor for now.
Yesterday a new Tales Of Zestiria TV Commercial has surfaced online. The new short video showcased some story sequences focused on Dezel, the Wind Seraph who has been confirmed as one of the playable characters a while back.
Tales Of Zestiria has been reviewed by Famitsu in the latest issue of the magazine. The game received a 36/40 score, which is in line with the scores of the more recent entries of the series.
Tales Of Zestiria will be released on January 22nd in Japan on PlayStation 3. According to Hideo Baba, the series’ producer, the game will be released by Summer 2015 in North America and Europe, making its localization one of the fastest in the series’ history. A precise release date, however, has yet to be confirmed.
