Microsoft is riding a nice wave of positive news and recent sales with the Xbox One. The video game and multimedia console had a great holiday season. According to data from the NPD and Xbox.com, the Xbox One was the best-selling console in the United States for the months of November and December. In a strong publicity move, Microsoft has announced that the Xbox One is receiving a price drop. The console is now available for $349.99, only at US retailers, for a special promotional price. Even if the price drop for the Xbox One is only a temporary, seasonal price, it is a brilliant business move on the part of Microsoft.
