Ali Edition Internet car is expected to next year

Alibaba group and Shanghai Automotive Group announced that jointly invested 1 billion yuan to establish Internet “car Fund”, and the formation of joint venture companies, Internet car-focused technology research and development. The new company will consolidate Ali, SAIC, and third-party resources, YunOS in-car system is developed (YunOS for Car), the establishment of dedicated hardware and software platforms and applications services, build a platform for cloud computing and data around the Internet car. The SAIC and Ali’s cooperation will bring into play their respective advantages and jointly build a “run in the car on the Internet” (a Car on the Internet), and establish the relevant industry standards and norms, first Internet automotive market by 2016.
