Super Smash Bros. for 3DS New Update To Launch Tomorrow, Adds Amiibo Support

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, the 3DS version of the latest entry of the series released last year in all regions, is going to receive a new update soon.

The new update will introduce amiibo support to the 3DS version of the game. No other detail on the update has been confirmed at the moment, but more on the matter is surely going to come in soon.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U has recently received a new update. The update allows players to select 15 more stages in 8-player smash mode. The update is also required to play online.

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U have been two of the more successful 3DS and Wii U titles released last year, thanks to a great gameplay experience, engaging play modes and tons of content like extra parts that can be used to customize all characters and more.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS are now available in all regions. A DLC character, Mewtwo, is also going to be released on a yet to be confirmed date for both versions. All those who have registered the two versions of the game on Club Nintendo will receive the character for free.
