Persona 5 To Feature Social-Link Like Feature, New Dungeons Details And More
Persona 5, the new entry of the series developed by Atlus launching later this year on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, has received some interesting new details thanks to the new issue of Famitsu.
According to the magazine, the game’s main character is a second year high school student who transfers to the city at the beginning of the new school year. Even though the game will begin in Shibuya, the action will also take place in Tokyo.
Gameplay wise, it’s been confirmed that Persona 5 will feature a system similar to Social Link, but we don’t know if it’s going to be the same as the Persona 3 and Persona 4 unique system. Dungeons will also be different from previous entries of the series, as they will come with gimmicks and challenges that will put the game’s main character’s skill to test. The dungeon shown in the latest trailer isn’t a randomly generated one but this doesn’t mean that such elements will not be included in the game.
The name of the main character’s starting Persona has also been revealed. The Persona will be called Arsène, a likely reference to the famous thief Arsène Lupin.
Persona 5 will be released on a yet to be confirmed date on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more comes in on it so stay tuned for all the latest news.
