United States GS1 releases new TIPP item-level RFID solutions

RFID World Network News, GS1 United States release named “mark project performance agreements” (TIPP) new guidelines to help the retail sector the definition, testing and verification of radio frequency identification (RFID) tags the electronic product code (EPC ®) performance level. TIPP offers a standardized, RFID label enables retailers to maximize the benefit from RFID technology application, including increased inventory accuracy, improve point of sale, reduce stock loss and reduce lost items, increase sales and rapid flow of capital. Criteria focuses on United States apparel and general merchandise, encourage retailers from item-level RFID technology to optimize inventory visibility.
