Super Smash Bros. for Wii U 1.0.2 Update Now Available, Adds More 8-Player Stages

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the latest entry of the series now available in all regions, has received a new update today.

The new 1.0.2 update adds 15 new 8-player stages as well as a variety of yet to be detailed fixes. The update requires 316 MB of free space and is needed to play online.

The 8-player mode is one of the many new features included in Super Smash Bros for Wii U. The game also comes with new play modes not seen in the 3DS version such as Crazy and Master Orders, Smash Tour and more.

Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS are also going to receive a new DLC character this year. Mewtwo will be made available for free for all those who have purchased and registered both versions of the game on Club Nintendo.
