Dragon’s Dogma Online Confirmed, First Details Revealed
A new entry of the Dragon’s Dogma series has been revealed today by the new issue of the Japanese magazine Famitsu. The new game is Dragon’s Dogma Online, which will be released on a yet to be confirmed release date on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC.
The game will be a free to play online role playing game with item microtransactions where players will take on the role of an Awakened in the land of Lestaria. Players will be able to create parties of up to 4 players as well as spend times in town lobbies with other 100 players.
Gameplay wise, Dragon’s Dogma Online will retain some of the familiar elements of the PS3 and Xbox 360 game like clinging attacks and more. Among the confirmed jobs for the game are the Fighter, Priest, Hunter and Shield Sage. Players will be able to change their jobs at all times as well as change their pawns’ ones.
It’s also been confirmed that Dragon’s Dogma Online will feature a big open world which will be expanded with big updates. Bigger missions as well as time-exclusive missions will also be included in the game.
