Code Name S.T.E.A.M. To Receive Playable Demo Through Download Codes
Code Name S.T.E.A.M., the upcoming 3DS game currently in development by Intelligent System launching this year in all regions, is apparently going to receive a playable demo soon.
An online report revealed that GameStop Stores have started distributing some special cards with a download code for the demo. As this demo has yet to be officially revealed, trying to redeem the code will result in an error.
Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. is going to be a really unique turn based strategy game featuring third person shooter games elements like the Valkyria Chronicles series. The game will take place in a steampunk version of London, with main character Henry Fleming and his Unit S.T.E.A.M. fighting to defend the planet from an alien invasion. The latest Nintendo Direct also confirmed that the game is going to support amiibo figures, allowing players to use Robin, Ike, Lucina and Marth in the game by scanning the corresponding figure.
Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. will be released exclusively on Nintendo 3DS on March 13th in North America. The European will be released sometime during March. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more comes in on it so stay tuned for all the latest updates.
