Dragon Quest VII 3DS Ultimate Hits Release To Be Launched In Japan This March
Dragon Quest VII 3DS, the remake of the Dragon Quest game released on the first PlayStation console, is going to be released again in Japan in a new Ultimate Hits Edition this March, Square Enix confirmed.
Dragon Quest VII Ultimate Hits will be released in Japan on March 12th and will be available for purchase for only 2,800 yen.
Square Enix has also confirmed that two other Dragon Quest 3DS games will also be released again as part of the Ultimate Hits line. Dragon Quest Monsters and Dragon Quest Monsters 2 will also be available in Japan starting this March for 2,800 yen.
Dragon Quest VII 3DS is one of the more recent Dragon Quest games that has yet to be released West, together with the MMORPG Dragon Quest X and a few other games. Square Enix has recently talked about the localization of Dragon Quest VII stating that it’s a rather complicated matter due to the huge amount of text included in the game.
The next game of the franchise to be released is Dragon Quest Heroes, a spin-off game featuring characters and monsters taken from all over the series and a gameplay experience that’s similar to the Dynasty Warriors series. The game, which will soon be released in Japan, has yet to be confirmed for the West.
