UK Charts: Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare Keeps First Place, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker Enters At 16th

Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the latest entry of the series developed by Sledgehammer Games, is the first best selling game in the UK of 2015. Hardly surprising, considering the game has been in the first place for a few consecutive weeks.

Just like the previous week, Grand Theft Auto V and FIFA 15 complete the top three, followed by the Ubisoft published games Far Cry 4, Assassin’s Creed Unity and The Crew, the Bungie developed first person game Destiny, WWE 2K15, Driveclub and Minecraft: Xbox Edition.

One new game has managed to enter the charts on a decent position but not in the top ten. We’re talking about Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, the new platform/puzzle game released last week in Europe exclusively on Wii U. While Nintendo’s first party games usually do quite well at launch, that wasn’t entirely the case for the new game, most likely due to getting released right after Christmas. Some UK retailer such as GAME have also started selling the game right before Christmas, with these copies sold before the official release date not getting tracked.

Here’s the full top ten for the week.

1. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
2. Grand Theft Auto 5
3. FIFA 15
4. Far Cry 4
5. Assassin’s Creed: Unity
6. The Crew
7. Destiny
8. WWE 2K15
9. Driveclub
10. Minecraft: Xbox Edition
