Super Smash Bros. For Wii U New Video Reveals Duck Hunt Amiibo Data
A few months ago, when Nintendo officially revealed its amiibo figures, it’s been confirmed that eventually all Super Smash Bros. for Wii and 3DS fighters would be released as amiibos.
More evidence backing this fact has been recently discovered by a hacker. In a new video, available at the end of this post, it’s been confirmed that Super Smash Bros. for Wii U includes data for a Duck Hunt figure. The game most likely also includes data for all the figures that have yet to be released, even though this has yet to be confirmed in any way.
Amiibo figures have been released together with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U last November and have been quite successful in all regions. The amiibos are also compatible with a variety of Nintendo published games including Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors. Some Nintendo 3DS titles are also compatible with amiibo figures like the upcoming Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy Plus and One Piece: Super Grand Battle! X.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS are now available in all regions. Several amiibo figures are also available in all regions.
