Does Your Street Have Potholes? Here Are 19 Ways To Use Them

Every city has its old, damaged streets and the greatest problem are the potholes. They are not only an eyesore, but a serious safety hazard as well, for the vehicles and for the pedestrians. Yet, local authorities often overlook this problem and ignore the pleas of the citizens to mend the streets and fill up these road cavities. Forced to live with these potholes, two artists decided to make the most of a bad situation.

Davide Luciano and Claudia Ficca made a witty collection of photographs showing the many uses of the potholes. The photographs taken on the streets of New York City,  Los Angeles, Toronto and Montreal only confirms that this is a worldwide urban problem. From baptism to making a BBQ, their photographs are surreal and funny, yet carry a serious underline message.
