This is the last day of 2014. Before we start to party and make a list of your New Year’s Resolutions, we need to take a minute to step back and reflect on the events that happened this year. Looking upon our individual past actions will serve as guidelines for each of us to make better choices in the future, so the year ahead will be better, happier and more fulfilling.
Halloween is the day we are all waiting to come. I can hear people talking about it from the first day of this month.
Every year is viewed and summarized by the memorable events that happened in it. Some events can be entertaining, others tragic, some inspirational and others scandalous, but they will all leave their mark. In the past there may have been a few events a year that were worth remembering, but thanks to the free-flowing and globally accessible information, today those can be numbered by the hundreds.
Spartan Ops co-op mode from Halo 4 has been added to The Master Chief Collection along with a number of new fixes that improves the game’s overall matchmaking process. 343 Industries has posted the notes of the latest patch to Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The patch adds Halo 4′s Spartan Ops mode as promised along with the usual set of fixes and improvements. Get the full patch notes below.
The hits just keep coming for the highly anticipated video game sequel, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Last week, CD Projekt Red confirmed that there will be a second playable character for the game–a first for the franchise. Ciri will be a playable character in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, in addition to Geralt of Rivia. CD Projekt Red recently announced an extended delay of another three months for the game’s release. The news about Ciri as a playable character definitely takes some of the sting out of the three-month delay. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt already looked like a massive, immersive game. The inclusion of Ciri as a second playable character, just adds another exciting wrinkle and layer of depth to what already looks to be an amazing video gaming experience.
Capcom’s signature character, Mega Man, has been on the shelf for far too long. With 2015 right around the corner, it is about time for the Blue Bomber to make a glorious return with a new video game. Mega Man’s recent appearances for Super Smash Bros. Wii U and Super Smash Bros. 3DS, provide a nice sampling of Mega Man. However, Capcom should consider developing its own Mega Man titles again, rather than licensing out the character to other companies’ games.
