Hyrule Warriors Ships Over 1 Million Units, Celebrative Wallpapers Released
Hyrule Warriors, the Zelda series spin-off game now available in all regions exclusively on Wii U, has managed to become a quite successful game, despite doubts surrounding the game before release.
Koei Tecmo has announced today that the total shipments for Hyrule Warriors have reached 1 million units worldwide. To celebrate this excellent result, which is made even more impressive by the low Wii U install base in all regions, the Japanese publisher has released some nice wallpapers on its website.
Hyrule Warriors is going to receive another DLC pack later this week in Europe and Japan. The Majora’s Mask DLC pack will include a new Adventure Mode map with six new 8-bit weapons and sixteen new costumes, Young Link and Tingle as new playable characters and three new costumes for Lana, Shiek and Impa. The pack will be released next week, on February 5th in North America. Other DLC packs are also available right now in all regions, including new playable characters, new weapons, new Adventure Mode maps and more.
